Pricing

Estimating the cost of your play area can be a tricky business as it is sometimes hard to obtain price information "up front." At Admiral, we have sought to make our pricing as transparent as possible with all products showing a price which includes standard installation and mainland UK delivery, and only excludes VAT and surfacing.

Standard installation means installing the equipment into grass and/or topsoil that is on level ground and with clear access for our delivery vehicles and our team’s equipment. Installations requiring hard dig, ground clearance, levelling or groundworks will be at extra cost and quoted for on an individual basis.

Materials

All our play equipment has been manufactured to the highest standard and complies with the British and European Safety Standard BS EN 1176. Our surfacing is compliant with BS EN 1177.

All timber used in our products is sourced from sustainable sources and carries the FSC mark. It is treated with child friendly preservatives to offer the benefits of natural wood but with a minimum of ongoing maintenance.

The HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) panels used throughout the range are hard wearing and both impact and fade resistant (although it is inevitable that panels exposed to the sun on a daily basis will experience some fading in the long term). They are free of any toxic components and can be recycled.

All the ropes incorporated within our equipment are steel reinforced nylon, which have been laboratory tested for their load bearing capability. They comply fully with safety standard BS EN 1176.

Our metal equipment is galvanised or treated with a zinc metal thermal spray to prolong life and if painted, a polyester powder paint is applied electro statically, for further protection against corrosion.

Guarantees

We offer market leading guarantees on all our products – our consultants will give details with your design and quotation. However please note that, in common with other companies in the market, the following exclusions apply for damage caused by;

Normal wear and tear
Vandalism
Misuse
Customer managed installation (i.e. not by Admiral) which is not in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions
Lack of reasonable maintenance
